Alternatively, we can set up some sort of clearinghouse that does not deal in money at all.

What say ye?

This sounds like I great idea..I say I!

I would assume such organizations exist already. All we would need to do is identify one, check it out to make sure it is legit, and then support it.

I know this old...But I can't resist!Church would be for me a place where Free Thinkers could gather to learn and grow spiritually from each other as well as give a sense of community.Volunteer work is also importnant.I think many are like me and would volunteer if we had the time, the daycare etc.A church board in charge of setting up volunteer work would be able to divide shifts up in order to make time not such an issue.Volunteer work does a few different things: Of most importnance it helps our fellow man or an inportnant cause. This has positive side effects: It makes the volunteer feel spiritualy connected and good. It also brings the Deism name out in the open.More people will hear it and more people will learn about it and people will start seeing us in a positive light.

We are doing similar things with the Deist Foundation and Unified Deism as well. Stay tuned. I see a bright future for Deism!
