The Church of Nature's God
Inspired by Nature, Based on Reason. The Journey, Not
the Destination.
Recent Developments and Current Activities
The New Year means time for a house cleaning. Spruced up the Website this
weekend. (1/2/10)
Happy New Year to all! May you have a joyous and prosperous new year that is
full of wonderful discoveries. (1/1/10)
Nature's God has grown in many ways in the past year. Our
Fellowship and Discussion Group has grown steadily to 90, 35
of whom have been active within the past two months. This is a
pretty typical percentage for Internet discussion groups.

I will be attending this year's
Texas
Freethought Convention today. One of our members also wrote a "Letter
to the Texas Freethought Convention". I'll give you an update soon.
(11/14/09) It was another great convention. Already looking forward to Dallas
next year.
I have added The Deist Bible. What on Earth is
a Deist Bible? I suggest that it is worth checking out. (8/15/09)
The Church becomes a legal entity as an unincorporated nonprofit association
in the State of Texas (4/5/09)
The Fellowship Forum continues to grow with a
Deist Guides
program and a new Deist
Academy. (3/25-3/28/09)
Deist.info has been updated and released.
Consider it the Church archives. (3/9/09)
Nature's God Fellowship Forum
is now open to the public for discussion, sharing and fellowship. Come join us!

Ethan Allen's Reason: The Only Oracle of Man
is complete and available here. I hope you enjoy it.
I think it is one of the two most important works in early American Deism.

Announcing the Contemporary Deism Project!
The 2009 Deist Calendar is complete and posted on the
Calendar page.
I attended the
Texas
Freethought Convention on October 26. Check out the Reflections Blog link at
left for a report.
October 2008: The Nature's God Blog completed and installed. Visit one of
the few Deist Blogs on the Net.
The Church of Nature's God is now chartered as an
affiliate of Universal Ministries.
It seems fair that I should give back to the Deist
community a fraction of what I have gained. Download a 2008 Deism Calendar
(sorry, no longer available).
A book entitled The Church of Nature's God
is in the works. Release is planned by mid-2009. The outline and notes currently
comprise around 50 pages. (This project was shelved in favor of the Contemporary
Deism Project.)
